Stillwater Construction is well known for its quality design, production and superior customer service. This commitment to excellence begins with Anthony Mitchell, owner and lead builder for Stillwater. Anthony grew up around the home building business, spending time with his grandfather who was a custom cabinet maker and a licensed general contractor in the Nashville area. While finishing his senior year of college, Anthony took on a small project completing a home and found that he truly enjoyed the work.

He worked for a large national builder for several years before deciding that the customer deserved more. He has over 20 years of experience building custom homes in and around Nashville. Anthony has constructed hundreds of homes and won numerous awards while constructing three custom homes for Parade of Homes™ events in 2001, 2003 and 2007. This priceless experience, attention to detail and an overall concern for the customer has enabled Stillwater to become the quality business that it is today. Anthony’s love for home building has only grown throughout the years, allowing him to construct each home as if it were his own.
